Our gourmet restaurant on Lake Wörthersee “la balance” is a very special highlight for hotel guests at the Golf & Spa Hotel Balance****S. An enjoyable culinary highlight in the evening is the crowning glory of a day’s holiday.
This year we have once again been recognised by the restaurant guides Á la Carte, Falstaff and Gault Millau!
The restaurant “la balance”, which has already won several awards, is one of the best restaurants in Austria. The hostess and “frisch gekocht” TV chef Andrea Grossmann and her creative kitchen team personally create culinary experiences with a great deal of flair, using only the highest quality food from the surrounding region and sustainable ingredients in the pots and pans. Lake Wörthersee provides excellent fish, while the meat and vegetables often come from the family’s own farm. These fresh and seasonal ingredients and the flavourful dishes prepared from them are culinary delicacies. Savour and experience the well-known Austrian cuisine combined with the Alps-Adriatic region and Carinthian specialities!
We are also happy to cater for any food intolerances. However, we ask for your understanding that we have to charge a surcharge of € 20.00 per menu for a purely vegan menu.
For the children we serve a 3-course gourmet menu as part of the Balance Cuisine. The 5-course menu can also be booked for an additional charge.
