Lake Wörthersee is not the only pearl – or rather, Austria’s Caribbean. The Mediterranean temperatures south of the Alps allow us to enjoy the dolce vita of the south. While it is usually still cold and grey north of the Alps, we are already experiencing spring-like moments. The Alps-Adriatic border triangle promises not only culinary but also cultural specialities that are hard to find anywhere else. The sea can be conquered on a day trip, cultural cities such as Venice and Trieste can be reached within 2 hours by car. On the mountain in 20 minutes whether for hiking or skiing – no problem here in Carinthia.

In Carinthia we have fallen on the sunny side – in the truest sense of the word. The south of Austria has so much to offer – nature experiences with guided hikes from May to September, excursion destinations with castles and palaces, art and customs.
